*Yizkor - On the final day of Passover, we recite the special Yizkor Memorial Prayer.
We remember our departed loved ones, and commit to do more good in their memory.

**Seudat Moshiach - Pesach is the festival of freedom. While the theme of redemption is prevalent throughout the entire eight-day festival, the first days of Passover focus primarily on the first redemption - the liberation of our people from Egypt thirty-three centuries ago; and the closing days highlight the final redemption - the future era of divine goodness and perfection heralded by Moshiach.

The last day of Pesach, Acharon Shel Pesach, is particularly associated with Moshiach and the future redemption. The Haftorah for this day describes the promised future era of universal peace and divine perfection.

The Baal Shem Tov instituted the custom of partaking of a Seudat Moshiach - Moshiach Celebration, consisting of Matzah and wine on the afternoon of the last day of Pesach; in addition to the Matzah eaten at "Seudat Moshiach", the Rebbe's of Chabad added the custom of drinking four cups of wine, mirroring the seder held on the first days of Pesach.

Join us for the Seudat Moshiach which will take place on
Saturday, April 23 at 7:30pm
at the Chabad House, 74 South Main Street.
