Jews have been blowing the Shofar, a simple hollowed out ram’s horn, for thousands of years in celebration of Rosh Hashana, or the Head of the Year – also known as the birthday of humanity.

The frequencies and vibrations that emanate from the horn are of ancient formulation and have been blown by Jews in thousands of cities around the world, in times of both peace and persecution. The precise sequence of short, medium and long blasts, and their combination of both bass and treble, are known to have positive personal, global and cosmic effect.

Shofar in the Park is an option to take part in this sacred “Mitzvah” especially for those who are not able to attend services on  Rosh Hashanah.

On Thursday, October 3 & Friday, October 4 join us  at Freedom Park, 86 Union Street in Medford,  as we blow the Shofar and enjoy some apples and honey.

Toot us a Horn, and announce your arrival. Let us know that you'll be joining the Shofar in the Park.  Click here
